I first got into photography about twenty years ago. Always having had a love of music I focus most of my attention on live bands.
I try to work without any false lighting or flash, but try to capture the "moment" using what light is available to me at the time, looking for the way the light falls on someone and the colours, shapes and angles are all important even with Black and White photography.
I am currently working with Kodak Tmax 3200 and Fuji 1600 film. I like the grain these films give, which bring a raw and natural feel to the finished image.
For the future I have also decided to take a look at digital photography and what that may have to offer. My aim is to be the best photographer I can be and to get my work to a wider audience, hence the launch of my new Website.
